Keşkek

Beating the wheat with a common rhythm before cooking the kekkek and cooking while cooking forms the symbolic aspects of the ritual.

The tradition of kekkek is a solidarity based on joint work and sharing of ceremonies in which social participation such as traditional wedding ceremonies, circumcision festivals and rain showers are high. In this tradition, a meal called "Keşkek" is prepared and presented with the sharing of work and participation of male and female groups in certain rules, in large kettles and open fire, along with wheat and meat.
